What is a client management system?

A client management system - a CRM - is software that brings everything about a client together in one place: their contact details, their addresses, the quotes you sent them, their orders, their invoices, the calendar events tied to them, and your correspondence.

In practice that is the difference between checking three programs and two spreadsheets to say where a client stands, and reading one client record. In CoreCRM it is one record.

Who sees which client data is governed by access management. Client management is not priced separately - you will find the numbers on the CRM pricing page.

How the 30-day trial works

  • No card details: Signing up does not ask for any payment information.
  • The whole system: Every feature is available during the trial - you are not getting a cut-down version.
  • The whole team: You can invite your colleagues too, so you can decide based on real use.
  • No automatic charge: Without payment details no subscription starts on its own when the trial ends.
  • Your data stays: If you subscribe, you carry on with the data you entered during the trial.

What does a 360° client view mean?

That the client record shows more than their basic details: it also shows every other module's part of that client - their quotes, orders, invoices, calendar events and documents. The blocks start collapsed to keep the page readable, and you can open any of them.

From the same page you can email the client or create a calendar entry for them, without moving to another menu.

Client database: import and search

You do not have to enter your existing clients one by one - import them from a CSV file in three steps.

Three steps to going live

  1. 1

A 30-day trial with no card details. The system is ready to use right after registration.

  2. 2

    Bring your data over

Clients, products and services can be imported from Excel or your previous CRM, at no extra cost.

  3. 3

    Configure and go live

Set up roles, departments, your email account and invoicing, then start working.

For finding them again there is a filter row above the list: filter by who the client is assigned to, which tags they carry, when they were added, whether they are a private individual, and search by client name.

Common questions about client management

What is the difference between a client register and a CRM?

A client register stores a client's basic details: name, contact details, address. A CRM also stores the process attached to that client: the quotes, orders, invoices, tasks and correspondence. The difference is that a CRM tells you where a client stands, not only how to reach them.

Can I bring my existing client list over?

Yes, from a comma-separated CSV file in three steps, and in the second step you map the CSV columns to the CRM fields yourself. The import costs nothing extra.

Can I store documents on the client record?

Yes, the client record has a Documents block. There is no storage cap, and a single file can be up to 100 MB.

How many people can access the client data?

As many as you like - CoreCRM does not bill per user. Who sees which data is set with roles and departments.

What does client management cost?

It has no separate price: every module is part of the single monthly fee, with unlimited users.
